The International Conference on Pharmaceutics, Mass Spectrometry and Separation Techniques (Pharma Conference 2021) will be held during June 07-08, 2021 in Singapore City, Singapore. The theme of the conference focuses on “Current Trends in Pharmaceutics, Mass Spectrometry and Separation Techniques”.
Pharma Conference 2021 is a unique event which gives more information about pharmaceutics, novel drug delivery systems, mass spectrometry, proteomics, ionisation techniques, analytical separation science and desalination. This conference is anticipating participants from various regions of the world to have a global networking to exchange their research ideas under one roof. Dr Bodhi Chaudhuri is a professor of pharmaceutical sciences, chemical and biomolecular engineering and institute of materials science at the university of connecticut. His research focuses on mechanics of complex fluids, multi-scale modeling, advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing and artificial intelligence. He got his PhD in mechanical engineering from new jersey institute of technology after obtaining his MS and BS both in chemical engineering from indian institute of science, bangalore and jadavpur university, calcutta respectively. He performed postdoctoral research in pharmaceutical engineering at rutgers university and has 3 years of industrial experience. His group has published more than 70 peer-reviewed publications, delivered more than 45 invited talks and almost 200 conference presentations in US and abroad. He acts as an editorial board member for advanced powder technology, journal of pharmaceutical sciences and several other international journals and acted as an organizing member of several international conferences. He acted as grant review panel member in national science foundation, ACS and PhRMA. He has received prestigious awards and scholarships from PhRMA Foundation, FDA and department of education in India. He regularly consults pharmaceutical, biotechnology and engineering companies. He acted as the technical advisor to epygen biopharmaceuticals from 2008-2014. He held the visiting professor positions in university of copenhagen, national university of singapore and monash university, Australia. Congressman joe courtney applauded the research efforts of chaudhuri-group in United States congressional report in 2011.
Dr. Katalin Prokai Tatrai is a professor in the department of pharmacology, neuroscience and pharmaceutical sciences at the university of north texas health science center at fort worth, TX, USA. She is an award winning researcher and pharmacy educator at her institution. Her primary research interests have been on innovative and multidisciplinary projects focusing on medicinal chemistry driven drug design and delivery into the central nervous system. Her projects integrate medicinal chemistry, biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, metabolism and drug distribution studies in early phase drug discovery and the development of neuroactive/neuroprotective agents. She has extensively published in a broad field of medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry, including the development of the very first CNS selective delivery of estrogens based on a unique bioprecursor prodrug approach. She is an inventor on six issued US patents in the field of translational medicine and drug discovery. She has been an editorial board member of numerous journals. She has also served as the academic editor of a successful special issue on neuroprotection in the international journal of molecular sciences and a section editor in chief in life.
Dr Apurba Bhattacharya is a professor in the department of chemistry at TAMUK. He joined TAMUK in fall 1999. At the end of 2005, he took a leave of absence from TAMUK and served as the Global R and D Head and Senior Vice President in Dr Reddys Laboratories in India. Dr Reddys is one of the largest generic pharmaceutical company with R and D and manufacturing spanning all across the world including USA, Europe SE Asia, Mexico and Canada. He provided leadership and strategic direction for the global R and D consisting of more than 700 PhD chemists and engineers and serve on senior R and D staff that is responsible for ensuring effective and innovative product development. After two and a half years sabbatical he returned to TAMUK in fall 2008. He has over twenty years of experience in pharmaceutical industry in the areas of drug delivery and drug development (prior to TAMUK) including Merck 8 years, Hoechst 8 years, Bristol Myers Squibb 2 years and Dr Reddys Laboratories in India (2 years). At Merck, he discovered Finasteride or Prsocar-a multi-billion-dollar drug for enlarged prostate and prostate cancer and the hair growth drug Propecia. At Hoechst, he developed a process for Cromolyn Sodium for asthma, Gd/Lu Texaphyrin agent for MRI imaging agent for photodynamic therapy of cancer S-ibuprofen non-streroidal ant inflammatory. At Bristol Myers Squibb, as a director of process R and D, he led the efforts to develop Nucanzole, another important antifungal drug from BMS. At TAMUK he developed a one-step synthesis for Tylenol. He has 7 book chapters, 123 referred publications, 50 patents, 168 research presentations in national and international meetings. His students have made 60 research presentations. He is in the Advisory Board of Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI). He is a Member of the National Academies Chemical Sciences. Roundtable (CSR), National Academies Committee on Promoting Safe and secure chemical Management in Developing countries; American Chemical Society Green Chemistry Institute (ACS GCI) Pharmaceutical Roundtable and Panel of Drug Evaluators for Current Drugs (CD). (Responsible for the evaluation of drugs, which are being launched worldwide under FDA guidelines). He is a Scientific Process Advisor for several pharmaceutical companies including Sun Pharma, Daiichi-Sankyo, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, PHARM-ECO A Johnson Matthey Company, Texas Bio Technology, Bristol Myers Squibb Pharmaceutical Co., Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceutical., Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research and Development, Ambion and national advisory committee, Dr. Reddys Laboratories, Chembiotek, India, Osmania University, India, senator kay bailey hutchisons list of designated expert in environmental chemistry, corpus christi regional economic development corporation and NIH: SSS-L study section, SBIR/STTR applications in drug discovery, development and delivery. He served as a Director, NIH Texas bridges to doctorate program. His research interests include pharmaceutical process research and development and environmentally benign processes in organic synthesis.
Dr. Zhiling Yu is a Professor in the School of Chinese Medicine at the Hong Kong Baptist University. He received his undergraduate education at the Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and obtained his PhD degree in biochemistry from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Before joining the Hong Kong Baptist University, he once worked at the China Pharmaceutical University and the University of Macau. Dr Yu is known for his research in herbal pharmacology, focusing on anticancer, anti-inflammatory and melanogenesis-regulating herbs and in quality control of Chinese medicinal materials. He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed research papers. His research expertise: Pharmacology of Chinese medicines, focusing on the mechanisms of action of anticancer, anti-inflammation and melanogenesis-modulation herbs; Processing of Chinese medicinal herbs, focusing on the mechanisms underlying the processing of Chinese medicines and quality control of decoction pieces.
Dr. AL Suwailem Aymen has received PhD degree in pharmaceutical chemistry in 2010 at king saud university, Kingdom of Saudia Arabia. Currently he is working in I Prince Sultan Cardia Center in Riyadh. He has 15 publications and attracted many scientists. He has presented over 15 lecturers in 15 conferences. His research interest focuses on the analysis of amino alcohol containing compounds (enantiomers).
Dr. Abdeen Mustafa Omer (BSc, MSc, and PhD) is an Associate Researcher at Energy Research Institute (ERI). He obtained both his PhD degree in the Built Environment and Master of Philosophy degree in Renewable Energy Technologies from the University of Nottingham. He is qualified Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record within the water industry and renewable energy technologies. He has been graduated from University of El Menoufia, Egypt, BSc in Mechanical Engineering. His previous experience involved being a member of the research team at the National Council for Research/Energy Research Institute in Sudan and working director of research and development for National Water Equipment Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Sudan. He has been listed in the book WHO in the World 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010. He has published over 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 200 review articles, 15 books and 150 chapters in books.
Dr Parisa Ziarati is a researcher since she has published some 179 research articles in some leading technical and scientific journals. She is the author of 5 books. She has delivered 149 lectures at national and international conferences on relevant subjects, primarily environmental chemistry. She has also supervised 132 masters thesis and mediated 118 thesis as an advisor. She has also published several papers on new findings in phytoremediation, a topic of current and original research attracting commercial interest. Moreover, she has worked exhaustively on turning low cost wastes products (food, agricultural, forestry, industrial and mine wastes) into a valuable resources for water/wastewater remediation and pollution prevention. It is notable that remediation of contaminated soils by heavy metals and organics, detoxification and removal of heavy metals from foods, including rice and vegetables by adsorbents/bio sorbents is her current research passion.
Mr. Rishabha Malviya is working as an assistant professor in department of pharmacy, school of medical and allied sciences, galgotias university, greater noida, India. He has authored more than 100 manuscripts for different national and international journals. He has also authored 3 books and 2 books are under consideration for publication. He has guided 23 M Pharmacy students for their respective project work. He is also serving as an editorial board member, invited editor and reviewer of various renowned national and international journals. His paper has been published under editors choice in renowned journal. He is also serving as consultant/advisor to industry for process optimization and formulation development. He is invited author for business to business magazine deals with pharmaceutical industry. He has also filed 11 Indian patents.
Dr. Milan Hait is currently working as an assistant professor in the department of chemistry at Dr. C V Raman University, Bilapur (C.G.), India. He did his post graduation from Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur (C.G.), India. M.Phil and doctorate in chemistry from Dr. C.V. Raman University, Bilapur (C.G.), India. Before joining Dr. C.V. Raman University, he has worked as an assistant professor in Shantiniketan College, Bilaspur (C.G.), India and SOP, Chouksey Engg. College, Bilaspur (C.G.). He has more than 12 years of teaching and 9 years of research experience in organic chemistry, phytochemistry, water pollution, green chemistry, analytical chemistry and surface chemistry. His achievements: 05 M Phil scholar awarded and 30 MSc students have completed their project, in addition to this 04 PhD scholars are enrolled and in progress under his guidance. His research interests are in the synthesis of new bio-molecular targets for various therapeutic areas, expertise in analysis of water quality, extraction, isolation, purification, and analysis of bioactive molecules from plants, bio adsorbents, molecular recognition, bio/chemo sensor. He has published more than 37 research and review papers in international journals and attended 21 national and international seminars/conferences/ workshops for presentation of research papers. He is a member of learned societies and/or professional bodies like indian chemical society, indian science congress association, association of chemistry teachers, american chemical society, association of environmental analytical chemistry of india, vigyan bharati and asian chemical society etc. He is an editorial board member of some reputed national and international journals like international journal of advanced research and development, international journal of applied research, international journal of multidisciplinary research and development, national journal of advanced research, journal of scientific letters and acta scientific pharmaceutical sciences. Dr. Seema Habib Isa has completed her PhD at the age of 33 years from swami ramanand teerth marathwada university, nanded, maharashtra, India. She has been awarded with honorary degree of doctor of science for outstanding scientific contribution in chemisty by international agency for standards and ratings. She has received awards such as the prestigious adarsh saraswati rashtriya puraskar by global management council of glacier journal research foundation, ahmadabad, gujarat. women researcher award by vdgood professional association in second international scientist awards on engineering science and medicine and also awarded by the special achievement award in 5th south asian educational awards and summit 2020, Noida (Delhi NCR), India, undertaken by RwePie, EET CRS & SAEA-20 . She is a fellow of the International Association of the Science Impact (FIASI). She has published more than 47 papers in reputed journals and has been on the editorial board for 48 national journals and international journals. She has also contributed as organizing committee member of 23 international conferences. Her areas of research interest are organic synthesis, coordination chemistry and chemistry of biomolecules.
